Can you introduce yourself and your role within EEZZ?
Hi! My name is Avalon, I’m 28 years old, and I work within the marketing team at EEZZ. The best aspect about my role? The huge variety of tasks—and especially the freedom to be creative.
I manage our social media channels, make sure all our graphic materials look sharp and professional, and I’m actively involved in campaigns, promotions, and other communications. Whether it’s brainstorming a new campaign, writing a compelling newsletter, or designing eye-catching visuals—no day is ever the same.
I also like to support the back-office team when needed to help keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes. That mix of creativity, quick thinking, and teamwork makes my job dynamic, varied, and incredibly rewarding.

What is an indispensable skill that someone in your role needs?
You definitely need to be able to switch gears quickly and be flexible. One moment I’m working on a newsletter for our property owners, five minutes later I’m designing a 4x4 meter banner, and before I know it, I’m deep in a strategy meeting about our social media campaigns. In short, no day is predictable and that’s exactly what makes my work so exciting and fun!
Do you have a favourite motto?

This motto helps me make decisions and take risks. Over the years, I’ve learned that making mistakes isn’t a bad thing—as long as you learn from them and come out stronger. You only discover what something can bring you by giving it a try. So why wouldn’t you? Sometimes all it takes is a little courage, trust, and just going for it.

What is the best part about working at EEZZ for you?
Without a doubt, it’s my colleagues who make working at EEZZ so special! Every time I’m at the office in Landgraaf, it feels like a celebration. We have a close-knit team, and the energy we share makes every workday fun and collaborative. My job is already super varied, but it’s really the people around me who make the difference. They make me look forward to every day—and that says it all.
Also, I’m not exactly your typical office type. No pencil skirts or stiff dress codes for me—I feel most like myself in band tees and with my tattoos. At many companies, there’s still (conscious or unconscious) judgment about that. But with Guy and at EEZZ, I’ve felt completely welcome from day one. No labels, no assumptions—just a place where you’re valued for who you are. It’s incredibly refreshing, and it’s one of the reasons EEZZ is such a great place to work!

What is a memory within EEZZ that you will never forget?
Our Christmas trip to London was definitely a highlight! Wandering through beautifully decorated streets with the whole team, soaking up the magical holiday vibe—and of course, enjoying the great company—those are the kinds of moments that stick with you. But honestly, every team outing is special in its own way. Whether we go on a big trip or celebrate something small, there’s always a strong sense of connection. I wouldn’t trade my colleagues for anything—and I think that says it all!
